This site, Top Asbestos Attorneys, is operated by Sokolove Law, LLC (“Sokolove Law,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Summary

We do not sell your data. We use analytics and call-tracking tools to understand how the site is used and improve it — the cookies page lists every one. When you tell us about your case — through the case-review form, a phone call, or live chat — we share the details you give us with Sokolove Law and its co-counsel so they can review your case and follow up with you.

What we collect

Automatic: browsing activity

When you visit the site, we log:

• Standard web-server information: IP address, user agent, referrer, pages visited, timestamps.
• Analytics data via EdgeTag, a first-party tag manager served from our own subdomain, to understand traffic patterns and which pages and campaigns work.
• Session-recording and heatmap data via Microsoft Clarity, which records individual browsing sessions (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement) and builds heatmaps so we can see where pages confuse people or break.
• Call-tracking data via CallRail: when the site swaps a displayed phone number for a tracking number, CallRail records the marketing source of your visit, and if you call it records call metadata (the number dialed, time, and source) so we can see which pages and campaigns lead to calls.
• Cookies necessary for the site to function — see /cookies/.

Voluntary: what you submit

We collect information you voluntarily provide:

• The case-review form: your name, email, phone number, state, the type of insurance denied, your insurance carrier, the date of the denial, and any comments you add.
• Live chat: the messages you send through the chat widget and any contact details you enter (name, email, phone number). The chat is operated by ClientChatLive on our behalf.
• Phone calls: if you call a number on the site, the call and its metadata may be logged for quality and attribution (see CallRail above).

What we do with it

When you submit the case-review form, we send it to Sokolove Law and its co-counsel so they can review whether you may have a claim and follow up with you. We also store:

• Your name, email, phone number, and the case details you provided.
• The page you were on when you submitted, and marketing-attribution parameters if you arrived from a campaign.
• Your IP address and browser user-agent, used for abuse detection and rate limiting. We periodically clear these fields from older records.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see our contact page.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data. Not to marketers, not to data brokers, not to advertisers.
• We do not use dark patterns. The form is opt-in and asks only for what a case review needs.

Service providers

We rely on the following:

• Sokolove Law, LLC and its co-counsel — the law firm(s) that review your case and may represent you. The details you submit are shared with them for that purpose.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, edge compute, and a D1 database. Cloudflare stores site data on our behalf, including a fallback copy of a form submission if our intake system is temporarily unavailable.
• EdgeTag — a first-party tag manager we run on our own subdomain to measure which pages and campaigns work. Data is processed for our analytics, not sold.
• Microsoft Clarity — session-recording and heatmap analytics: it records individual browsing sessions (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement) and aggregates them into heatmaps so we can find confusing or broken pages. See the cookies page for the cookies it sets and how to limit them.
• CallRail — call tracking and marketing analytics. It swaps displayed numbers for tracking numbers and processes call metadata. See the cookies page.
• ClientChatLive — the live-chat widget. When you start a chat, ClientChatLive processes your messages and any contact details you enter to answer your questions and pass your inquiry to us. See the cookies page.

State privacy rights

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, delete it, opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell), correct it, and limit the use of sensitive personal information.

Other states

Residents of states with privacy statutes (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others) have the rights granted under their state law. Requests follow the same process.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have, contact us at /contact/ and we will delete it.

Security

We use standard security practices: HTTPS site-wide, encrypted storage for sensitive data, limited access to production systems (multi-factor authentication, role-based access), and periodic security review. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a material breach involving your information, we will notify you as required by law.
